Wreck Removal Certificate in accordance with the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal Wrecks
International Maritime Organization (IMO) has announced that the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal Wrecks will enter into force on April 14, 2015. Convention applies to all the vessels (including fishing vessels and commercial yachts) of 300 GT or above registered in a State Party. Ships flying flag of a country that is not a State Party to the Convention will be required to obtain WRC certificate from a relevant authority in a State Party.

Chief of Maritime Affairs of Embassy of Panama, Dhaka.
Since October 3, 2013; Captain Saifullah Al-Mamun of Unirose Shipcare International has been appointed as the Chief of Maritime Affairs of Embassy of Panama, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Marine Casualty Investigation:
We are pleased to announce that on 20th March 2014, Capt. Saifullah Al-Mamun of Unirose Shipcare International has been appointed as Marine Casualty Investigator of Panama Maritime Authority.
STCW Independent Evaluator:
By the letter (18.00.0000.019.16.003.14-577) dated on 28th October 2014, the Ministry of Shipping, the People`s Republic of Bangladesh, an independent evaluation team has been formed to carry out independent evaluation of the Bangladeshi seafarers` training and certification system pursuant to Regulation I/8 of STCW Convention and section A-I/8 paragraph 3 of STCW Code. This independent evaluation team has been tasked to carry out the independent evaluation of each maritime institute approved by Department of Shipping, Dhaka (DOS) and the DOS itself including DOS associated offices.
Capt. Saifullah Al-Mamun is one of the three team members of this evaluation team.
